Winston Perfect 2 7/8" Fly ReelFor sale here is a 2 7 8" Winston Perfect in excellent used condition with original reel pouch. This reel is set up for LHW but can be easily switched to RHW. Made by Hardy Bros. England.
No other repairs are evident and none are needed
The ferrules are 11/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent
Nickel silver hexagonal check
The needle is turned slightly over the needle eye size and then glued into the bamboo which has been scalloped at the top near the opening
Comes with the original rod tube and a replacement bag
As the years passed I found that I was favoring shorter and shorter rods
15" -- not because of a break and repair at the tip-tip
The lines are supplied coiled in a very nice box with a tub of Red Tin Mucilin
