1945 Executive Desk, Model SP1110 by Frank Fletcher for Fletcher California in WalnutThis is a large American Art Deco Aviation Executive Desk, designed by Frank Fletcher and manufactured by Fletcher Aviation for Hughes Aircraft in Pasadena, California ca. 1945. The desk was initially designed in 1940, but a design patent number was not issued to Fletcher for the piece until 1945. The rounded triangular desk features a lush, highly figured walnut veneer, and it floats on a black plinth base. The desk is 44 inches deep, 72 inches wide,
